Lots of things have regressed since the original launch; clouds, distant lod, the overall lighting, the night environment, etc. Distant lod and the lighting scheme changed to squeeze the sim into Xbox but weather and nighttime seem to suffer constant fiddling.

As things stand now MS is simply Q&A'ing themselves with questions first having to be approved and no discourse possible. We need more of this:
