The price is however relevant for many people, especially as inflation rises sharply across the world.
Additionally MSFS represents a chance for types planes who have previously only had tiny niche markets before to reach out to a mass audience (or at least much closer to a mass audience than they every seen before) as long as they are a product that wider audience can afford What limited evidence we can see suggests Fenix's A320 and PMDGs 737-700 have done this but (despite the hype) Leonardo's Maddog maybe hasn't.

of course the price is relevant for me too, but more relevant is the product itself, and here we don't know what the TFDI MD11 will include. So is the discussion about 20$ more or less not realistic at the moment,. If you look at the Aerowinx PSX, it costs a lot of money but you can pull every single CB with the exact results for example. In my opinion Leonardo's Maddog has a higher price since it will be selled not so often as the A320 from Fenix and the B737 PMDG, meaning the amount of copys to be selled in sum is already included in the Maddog software as well as in Fenix/PMDG, assuming all named aircrafts has approximately the same software level. But time will tell and hopefully we have a realistic MD11 for MSFS soon.

Best regards Ralf
