Bluetooth Speakers

Featured Replies

I've been looking for some new speakers to go along with my new PC... Something small but good quality.  My wife has a JBL Flip 5 so when I set up my new PC, I decided to give it a try.  It sounded great, but I noticed there was a lot of "hiccupping (can't think of how else to describe it)" from time to time.  When I got close to Chicago and ORD, it happened like every few seconds.  When I turned the speaker off and went to the default speakers on my monitor, it didn't happen.  So is it safe to say that bluetooth speakers are not the best option to sim with?  Or could that popping/hiccupping be something else?  Just curios what you all think.  Thanks!

Is it possible to disable the output to the monitor (in Windows)? Maybe directing the sound output to two devices simultaneously is causing the stutters <??>.

I should have mentioned that I did disable them.  The one thing i did realize is that the disruption happens while in the sim but also when I don't have the sim on - youtube, etc.  So I am glad it is not something interfering with the sim.  Maybe my wifes phone is still trying to connect or something.... who knows.  Does anyone have any good recommendations for some speakers that are small, good quality like the JBL but wired?

Never thought I would but today I use the nVidia sound driver for my Samsung panel.

Pretty happy with little effort.

I have a set of Sanyun bluetooth speakers from Amazon that I received as a Christmas present.  They work very well and I am not/have not experienced anything like you describe.  The only tiny issue with these is that they require a higher volume level from my PC to produce the same sound level as my previous mini-phono plug speakers did.  And I believe that is about the speakers, not about bluetooth.  These are small but considerable heavier than the desktop speaker Bose set they replaced.  I assume the weight is magnets that are more substantial.
