Simbief generating no waypoints?

Featured Replies

Pilots, maybe a dummy question and posted here as I do have no Simbrief/Navigraph support login (yet) but since a couple of days I noticed that the FBW does not load waypoints, just DEP and ARR and no waypoints in between. First I thought this is an FBW issue but then I had a closer look at the simbrief screen and noticed, e.g. here for a flight planned from LOWI to LDSP, that when I plan/edit the flightplan the respective waypoints are there:

But once I generate the FP then the waypoints are gone, leaving just a straight line from LOWI to Split and of course also no waypoints in the FMS when the FP is loaded/imported in the FBW:

How comes? I did not do anything differently since using Simbrief since more than a year now. Happens for flights in other areas of the world, too. Any idea would be appreciated. Thx

give "Detailed Navlog" within Simbrief a checkmark (in the Selections setteings right from departure/arrival airport)  and then the waypoints should be back.

Thanks this is interesting…I had posted last weekend about my FBW flight having no waypoints, only the STAR and I assumed it was a FBW issue but maybe it was a Simbrief issue, I’ll have to check tonight.

Indeed! They are back in Simbrief after generating the plan. Thanks a lot. Funny these things as I could swear I did not fiddle around with any of these settings, just edit the same FP over and over again, just changing ARR and DEP and sometime the aircraft. Anyway, looks like all fine again. currently flying the CRJ into Split now (w/o waypoints) but will check later again in the FBW. THANKS again

EDIT: and now also again seen in the FBW. Thanks, @RTK1972
