Aviaflybywire operation information

Yep....that sure was a part of the problem!

I now flown with the Piper Arrow from Carenado and it works.

Did three VFR cirquits, a couple of 360's and a few Touch and Go's.

What i found out until now flying the small aircraft is this:

1. Very promising product!

2. Less Trimming, aircraft feels more stable (feels like in RL).

3. In 360 turns the aircraft doesn't tend to fall into the curve anymore, stays at 360 degree bank.

4. More stable glidepath on aproach, No hunting after the trim setting anymore (wich is totally unrealistic behaviour in The Carenado Piper Arrow (and in the Just Flight one)

5. On take-off (and also on aproach a bit) the aircraft is somewhat oscillating left and right when you are not easy enough on the controls left and right. I wish i could ease this out more.

6. On take-Off aircraft doen't fly it self from the runway into the climb that easy, tending to "overpitch" to high on rotation wich results in a loss of airspeed. I wish i could ease this out also.

7. When you fidle to much on the settings while flying in order to sest different settings the controls get stuck. exit Aiviaserver and restart again brings back the controls.

8. Not compatible with the Just Flight Arrow (wich was the reason for me to test your product in the first place because this aircraft is very much to unstable in flight Caracteristiscs.

Just a few things i noticed while flying for 30 minutes.

Regards,

Ben

I Now flown a cirquit in the Carenado Piper Seneca, feels great...buying the product.

Regards,

Ben

I can confirm both experiences.

Also key-bind would be a useful alternative to button assignment. I had all my buttons already assigned to other functions and really didn't want to give one up for FBW.

Thanks guys for all the valuable feedback! I will surely take it into consideration for a next version.

Especially keyboard binding and a more natural transition from takeoff mode to normal mode are something I want to work on.

Too bad regarding the incompatibility with the Just Flight aircraft - but it seems, JF is doing something with the controls behind the scene that interferes with aviaFlyByWire's control handling.

The keyboard key-bind works GREAT and I'm really liking FBW!
