My thought was it was not the Dornier X because it was already announced a month ago that an earlier Dornier with 2 engines was to be the next local legend (Iberia). The 1920s designed DO J (the Wal). Wal means whale. I suppose there could be two. Or maybe Asobo changed their mind.

The Wal was associated with Iberian pioneer flights. e.g. Franco's flight (not solo) to South America before Lindberg's flight. Amundsen and Bird went to the Poles. The Wal was a spectacular success with over 200 of them made.
