And the time you accumulate in the simulator will then percentually increase the XP you gain for your real flights. Like the training you can buy in the shop. I'm not quite using APL the way it was intended but perhaps it might get to that. My primary interest is being able to fly routes worldwide as I have been doing but maintain a rating based on how well I am flying. This combined w/ PACX is helping me until such time that FSCaptain arrives which is really what I'm after. This being said I will check out APL's main mission and see if I can make it work for me and will start w/ reading the help guide! Right now I have no idea what XP even is!!!!!!!! Unfortunately i think none of those modern programs (air hauler / onair / aplv2 / skypark) have that kind of features, not even sure if they would let you land at a different airport because of weather (probably yes i guess), fscaptain and the very old fspassenger had a bit of this i think and it was really a big plus for me. Anyway we can dream maybe one day...... 🍻 Neofly comes close. You will need to donate in order to get the Events extra's which does a few of the things you mention: Landing hard can damage your cargo so you will not get paid for an assignment or lose money when you are trading yourself. Landing hard, steep banks and stalling will make your passengers uncomfortable. A steep roll will have them even scream! You will lose some the bonus points you otherwise might get. You can be ordered to land at another airport because a passenger got sick. Sometimes law enforcement will require you to land at a different airport so they can apprehend one of your passengers. Passengers can request another airport but you don't have to please them. You will get paid extra if you do./ Failures are somewhat supported. A few times something broke during takeoff. You will hear a loud thunk during takeoff but otherwise should figure out what is wrong. The last time this happened I noticed my oil pressure dropping rapidly and my engine lost power. Lots of different mission types (cargo, passengers, VIP, sightseeing, emergency, illicit etc.) There are some negatives though: It's currently mostly suited for small aircraft (GA, Kodiak, BN2 Islander) Payment is based on the type of mission and the distance, but carrying 200lbs pays you the same as 3500lbs. You can stack multiple missions though as long as you can carry the weight/passengers. That works fine for small aircraft but having to stack dozens of missions to fill up a tubeliner becomes irritating. That's why I find it isn't very suitable for those aircraft.
