March 18, 20224 yr For the first time today I noticed that my screen would get slightly distorted or tear when turning or panning and I am not sure what this could be from. My specs are in my sig and my settings seem to be good for what my specs are. Any idea what could cause this? It happens with or without vsync. If you need more info let me know. THanks! March 18, 20224 yr I have pretty much exact same system as you and also notice a lot of screen tearing now. Maybe something going on with my settings, but Vsync doesn't seem to work like it did before most recent update.
March 18, 20224 yr Had this issue a long time ago but not seeing it now using Vsync and 30 fps lock. If that is not working, you can try turning Vsync & FPS Lock Off in the sim and go to Nvidia control panel and set 30 fps and Vertical Sync to 'Fast'. I think that solved it for me when it happened. You could also just try Vertical Sync to Fast in the Nvidia CP without the FPS lock. Cannot remember if I used it or not. March 18, 20224 yr Maybe try a different GPU driver? Ryzen 5800X3D, Nvidia RTX5080 - 32 Gig DDR4 RAM, 1TB & 2 TB NVME drives - Windows 11 64 bit MSFS 2024 Premium Deluxe Edition Resolution 2560 x 1440 (32 inch curved monitor)
March 19, 20224 yr I had(?) screen tearing also with FBW a320 but not on the last 1.5 hour flight, I have my 50 inch tv 60HZ and 2560x1440 and the same resolution in the sim 60 FPS limit, render scale at 85, TAA on. Most settings on high. i5-12600k, 16 gigs ram and 3060ti, I need more testing.
