Tomahawk incoming ..........

Yup, love this in XP11. Just Flight are producing some top notch aircraft.

Ryzen 9800X3D, RTX 5090, 64GB, Win 11. MSFS2020. Moza, MFG, Fulcrum & Virpil controllers. Quest 3 for VR.

Not trying to be argumentative, this is a legit question:

As someone with all of their PA28 variants, what 'new stuff' does this bring, especially over the Warrior? Is it a better trainer, or quicker, or nicer to fly, or?

I really would like to have a Tomahawk but after reading about the Milviz C310 with its 'owned' mode and failures none (and I mean absolutely NONE) of the available and announced GA's look interesting anymore. Afaik this Tomahawk doesn't have an 'owned' mode (I doubt if any JustFlight add on ever had that?) so that's an immediate 'no go' for me. Even my beloved Kodiak 100 will probably be parked indefinitely once the Milviz C310 has been released (or any other plane with an 'owned' mode: I am still looking forward to what A2A will offer in the future).

Well it's a different type altogether, not a PA28 derivative. What it mostly brings is "trauma" 🤣 i.e. you have to fly it out of a spin and it can have quite dramatic stalls, generally it's less forgiving than a C152 and was designed to require new pilots to learn to fly versus the more relaxed touring orientation of the PA-28.

You've got very good visibility with the large canopy. The high T tail makes it quite sensitive on elevator inputs, it is possible to over-rotate since it's out of propeller air flow so tends to become "live" quite suddenly during the takeoff roll.

Agreed 100%. Just Flight has been flavour of the month with me since I bought MSFS.

Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting.

Like other Just Flight aircraft this will have a 'persistent state' feature. Maybe not the same as 'owned' but I'm not sure what that means in terms of the C310 anyway.
