A blank canvas or an existing table or desk? What is the thickness of what you will mount to? Can your chosen controls sit side-by-side in that setting with a natural spacing, both horizontal and vertical? Is your sim flying setting/environment 100% devoted to flight simulation? Or will you need to position the controls when you fly and remove them when using the computer for other purposes? What is needed to power your chosen devices? AC or DC power supplies vs USB power? What sim support, ex. drivers, configuration apps, and or presets are available for the devices you consider? It is more about those than about the rants you will read, rooted in tribalism brand/device loyalty. Define your needs and sim setting/environment first and then evaluate and select...
