Well its far far better than having an enormous copper tank in your house. We Brits, with our central heating systems were very familiar with expansion tanks in the loft and hot water cylinders in the airing cupboard. But with the switch to combi boilers, many people have dispensed with the tanks.

Newer greener tech like heat pumps is necessitating the return of the tank, so great that the SUNAMP system is available to replace the tank.

Small and with zero toxic chemicals. Its vinegar and salt inside. And 100% recyclable.

Not exactly. The video simplified it a bit too much. It's sodium acetate which is made from vinegar and a salt but the salt would be sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) not sodium chloride. Definitely non-toxic, though.

Ah yes, but salt and vinegar is awesome on fish and chips from a British chip shop. Hence why I favour that simplification of the chemistry.

That's probably what the demonstrator was thinking about since he was going to lunch right after the demo..
