Community folder on X-box?

Featured Replies

Are there a community folder on the X-box version of MSFS? Most of the files on ie. Flightsim.to, has to be placed in the community folder, but if there isn't one, does that mean that none of the addons on Flightsim.to can be used on X-box? I understand that the FBW A320 can't be used on X-box, is that correct?

Unfortunately not, Xbox is a closed system, the only add-ons you can install are those available on Marketplace in the game for Xbox.

OK, that rules out X-box for me then. Thank you.

Yep, community mods are what makes this good sim great. If you are tossing up between buying a new PC or Xbox solely for sim, it’s a no brainier.

well its  a difference of about 1700 euros at least, maybe a no brainer for some, not for me tho.

It's probably my only annoyance with the Xbox version.

I have a lot of add ons for the PC version purchased directly from the developers which have their own installers and go into the Community folder.

The developers have since released MS Store versions of these add ons which are compatible with both PC and Xbox, but because I own the wrong version I can only use it on PC, which sucks. I'd love to be able to fly my Warrior and Arrow (from JF) on Xbox.
