Steals a Cessna 172 in northern Italy, intercepted by a Mirage 2000 in France.

Steals a Cessna 172 by forcing a hangar where it was kept in a small airport in Novi Ligure (Northern Italy) then takes off, they were 7 AM, towards France at low altitude, first flying over the Nice apt which had to suspend activities for half an hour and then head towards the base Toulon military man who took off a Mirage 2000 and a helicopter forcing the pilot to land at the Aix-Les-Milles apt, near Aix-en-Provence at 9.05 AM where he was arrested. He had no papers, wore no shoes and claimed to be originally from Slovakia.

With full flaps in the landing config a Mirage 2000 can fly at 156 knots. I would say the Mirage was a lot faster than landing config so I guess he intercepted the Cessna several times. 😁

The thief pilot risked above all, considering the times we live in, to see how fast a Mirage 2000 is to ... shoot down a Cessna 172 that entered a military airspace,  without any authorization!😁

Don't play with the big boys unless you want to be burned.
