April 11, 20224 yr Max is one of the better aviation YT'ers I follow - Asobo should watch a few of his vids for a reality check, lol (especially on weather). I watched this yesterday and with almost identical conditions tonight, I decided to fly MKC - JAC in the CJ4. 1 mile vis, low overcast, snow, strong gusty winds. They must be playing with the servers again because I was met with clear skies and then whamo - nuttin' but that stupid haze - not even popcorn clouds................Utter Joke. This crappy wx depiction started again for me last week after it seemed to be improving very, very much.
