Throttle Quadrant

Featured Replies

 Hello;

Some help please:

I dont understand why my Saitek throttle quadrant is not showing up in the controls set up...the only thing showing up as you can see is the flight yoke itself, that i find strange because the throttle is supposed to show up this i know for a fact because it shows up in x plane and also all the other simulators.  And i need it to show up in order to bind its buttons and map them etc.

What is it that i am missing here?...

Does it show up under power management for the yoke? It may consider it part of the yoke if it’s not the usb version but rather the one that plugs into the yoke.

Try unplugging the yoke and plug then plug the throttle in and see if it shows up.

Is it showing up in Windows under USB Controllers?

I finally understand that the quadrant is recognized but as part of the flight yoke itself...that i did not know to begin with...but after alot of fiddling around i found that out...a real shocker as i was used to seein it on its own in x plane 11...so its going to take a lot of geting used to with this new sim!...

But now i have a whole different problem:

when i am in the cesna 152 an i apply full throttle with one of the levers of the quadrant the plane does move forward...but it also does the same when i steer to the left with my yoke!...which is obviously not whats supposed to happen!...i have tried to fix this in the control assignments...but with no avail...thus when i steer to the left with the yoke it also increases the planes throttle...and as i said...i cant find a way to fix this...the control system of this new sim i find terribly daunting and puzzling!...

Some help would be appreciated.

In the controller settings of the yoke, on the left you have an option "search by input".

If you click on that field and then steer the yoke you should see whether or not that yoke action is assigned to more than a single axis. It should only be assigned to "ailerons".
