April 25, 20224 yr Just a note that a Garmin Trainer GTNXi update is available. If you go to the Win10 (or Win11, I assume) Start Menu and click on Garmin Aviation Trainers you will see: On the left, click on Version Manager and scroll down to GTN Xi (v20.20). I found my installed version was 20.20.10.0, and it initially said no update available. HOWEVER, after I clicked on the Check for Updates tab in the bottom right corner it then showed version 20.20.13.0 was available. So I clicked on Update and it just took a few seconds. I think this update is some kind of coding update (bug fix maybe, etc) and NOT a Nav database update. TDS recommends this update since it is the version they currently use for GTNXi750 development. Using the RXP, I had never done a Update using the trainer software and was concerned about what effects to the RXP GTN. Anyway all turned out ok. I updated to get the new descent arc. Since I know of a C414 user that solved an annoying problem by updating, I posted the info. Al Edited April 26, 20224 yr by ark
April 27, 20224 yr Just to add some potential confusion, TDS just released an update to the TDS GTN gauge. Suggest you install it (also..), using your TDSGPSmanager app. Bert
