May 6, 20224 yr Hi all, Whenever I load a flight with live weather, I get correct weather data (from the in game METAR) but no clouds...just clear skies. It intermittently works every now and then but not very often. I know not everyone is having this problem but is anybody else having this problem and know how to fix it? I've tried everything I can think of including loading the flight with a preset and then switching to live weather after the flight loads but it still doesn't work. I've also checked my time and region settings to no avail. Very frustrating. I've only recently been having this problem after re-installing the sim to a new Windows 11 computer. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
July 12, 20223 yr I have searched the web, forums...etc and I cannot find ANY fix, or really many others with this same problem as you an I. Are we an extremely small group whose live weather doesn't match the METAR? Clear skies all the time? No Storms or clouds? Did you find a fix? HELP!
July 12, 20223 yr I have this problem too after installing SU10 beta. Many airports without clouds, seeing clouds only in the distance, even with the sim metar saying it should be 2 or 3 layers of scattered clouds. Other airports the sim says don't have metar but weather sites have the metar. It was working fine before installing the beta, every airport had the clouds according to the metar, so I think it's a bug in the beta. Are you guys also on SU10 beta? And the metar is MYNN 131700Z 17011KT 9999 BKN020 BKN200 30/25 A3013, so there is definitely something wrong with live weather.
