May 21, 20224 yr I missed the lunar eclipse, now I missed this years world Bee day. I really like Bees (they are such honeys) even though walking behind a wagon that stirred up a bee hive and I was stung about ten times and got one in my collar riding motorcycle also. I seen a few this spring. I also miss turtles crossing the road, grass snakes. lightning bugs (fire flies) at night. We need more frogs, instead of just the occasional one that shows up on the deck. 65 years ago they were common critters around me.
May 21, 20224 yr Moderator Some few years ago, a trio of little bee friends were enjoying a formation flight together. One bee exclaimed "I'm low of fuel. I see a Texaco just ahead so I'll buzz in for a fill up." One of the other two decided to get a top off of fuel as well, but he said "I prefer Exxon, so he headed to that station. The third bee stated that he prefers Esso, so he headed there. This just proves that one out of three is a Esso bee... <groan> Fr.
