Weird Fenix Issue

Featured Replies

Yesterday I did a flight and didn't have this happen.  Since then, I haven't done anything different.  My trackIR is off, and when I load up the Fenix (did this multiple times with different liveries at various airports and the same thing happened... I even did 2 restarts of the sim and app), I go into the cockpit and the camera pans in a circle and I can't stop it.  You might have seen my other thread about custom views and I can say that I have the original default views in there and haven't changed anything since my flight yesterday that was successful.  Any thoughts on what could be causing this?  I am on the latest version.  Thanks!

So i tried it with a different plane and it happens so I apologize, it doesn't seem to be specific to Fenix.  Any idea what could cause this?  Could I have a button pressed on my keyboard or a binding that causes the pan to the left that I might have activated?

Have tried resetting the camera in the camera menu?

If you have a X box controller for camera views, try unplugging it or setting a null zone on the control that moves left and right.

I didn;'t know that was an option... I'll give it a try and report back

I don't have an xbox controller.

Just tried this and it didn't stop it.  I still get a 360 pan to the left.  Resetting just brought me facing forward but it kept panning left.

Try unplugging all your controllers, one of them is causing this, is my guess.

I think I narrowed it down to my Hotas Warthog thrust lever.  When I unplugged it, it stopped, but when I put it back in the USB, it started doing it again.  Any thoughts on why this is happening all of the sudden or what could be causing it?

Never mind... I figured it out.  Thanks!

Dare to share HOW you figured out. If asking for help and then stopping with ‚found it‘ isn’t helpful for others running into the same issue

Very good point.  Sorry…. A few years ago I mapped a button to pan that I didn’t like and never used and forgot about it. Somehow it was switched out of place with me knowing and not until I unplugged the hotas I realized it was moved.  In other words, human error 😳
