From FullHD To 4K

Hi everyone, I habe an update on this case: After reverting back to my old FHD-TV, I sent back the 4K-TV and instead ordered a computer monitor from LC-Power, with WQHD resolution (2560x1440). And what should I say, in first tests I had no problem at all with framerates dropping with an active mouse pointer.

Apart from being classified as a monitor (don't know if that makes a technical difference), the screen is now connected via Display Port. It also has FreeSync, although I am not using that at the moment.

Best regards, Dimitrios

I had flickering screen (on screen two) issues for many driver versions of the gpu whenever i moved my mouse over the main screen for p3d.

Wanting to get to the bottom of it, I tried many different things. changing my mouse, trying different monitors and even which slot into the card they went into. Nothing helped, changing p3d menu settings, gpu menu settings and different cables. The flickering has stopped ever since Ive changed the colour of the mouse on screen from white. Not sure if thats what did it or it was pure coincidence, but the flickering stopped. maybe something to do with the way white is handled in HDR between the monitor and gpu, but since Ive got a dark red mouse colour, no issues what so ever.
