June 14, 20223 yr All my flights are on Vatsim, I have aig liveries installed, plus ivao xcl folder/files. I rarely get "red" warnings that vPilot cannot find an aircraft. I recently flew to an airport where a Honda jet was taxiing. The pilot had correctly assigned the aircraft ICAO as HDJT. I understand that I dont have a Honda jet model/livery installed, but vPilot/model matching inserted a generic Asobo twin jet airliner (787 type size) in place of the Honda jet. Is there a way of "forcing" vPilot to choose a more appropriate aircraft type if this situation happens again? How could I amend the VMR file to force it to display a "Citation" as an example if it sees HDJT again? Thanks in advance Ian

Thanks in advance Ian You can manually edit the modelmatching file and add something that replaces all Hondajets with a certain model&livery. June 15, 20223 yr The Hondajet entry in my .vmr looks like this: <ModelMatchRule TypeCode="HDJT" ModelName="AIGAIM_Google Gulfstream G550 - N10XG//AIGAIM_Google Gulfstream G550 - N785QS//AIGAIM_Google Gulfstream G550 - N813QS//AIGAIM_Google Gulfstream G550 - N904G" /> Just install the Google GA package from the AIGAIM and you're good to go 🙂
June 15, 20223 yr Is there a full lib of aircraft and liveries that you can just install without fiddling around in AIG? AIG is the most user unfriendly software ever I feel.
June 16, 20223 yr Author Konterhalbe, Many thanks. I have 40.9Gb of Aig liveries installed, but I think they are all airliners. I didn't know a GA package existed, where is it? Thankyou Ian

AIG is the most user unfriendly software ever I feel. AIG IS the full lib of aircraft and liveries. There's nothing else, at leats if you want real aircraft models. People here and/or over at Discord happily help you with anything. You just have to do it once correctly and it's hands-off from thereon, if you want to. Thankyou Ian GA is mostly business/executive jets in AIG, like anything that has something that's remotely similar to a recurring flight plan. There are hundreds of business airlines and companies (like Google) on AIG with their very own flight plans. It's not "one" package, and it's business aircraft, not Cessna 152s or something like that, if that's what you were asking with "GA package".
