First one in a while

Featured Replies

Haven't been doing screenshots in a while. Got myself a big HDR monitor about 6 months back, and then various other issues with the sim plus a bunch of non-sim activity in the workshop, but may be now heading back to getting some shots I like the look of. Problem has been trying to get things settled down and get some colours I'm happy with, plus being able to get decent SDR images off the HDR screen. Seems like the screen grab function on the X-Box game bar does a reasonable job, so if it's consistent, I might be able to start getting some screen grabs again.

Here's the first one I've been happy with for a while -

Coming round the North Wales coast on the way in to Liverpool in the Cessna C170. 4k, Floyds Epic Clouds for the sky, pretty much all ultra and LOD=400, plus a couple of minor experimental shader adjustments. And finally I can get this all with pretty smooth frames at between 30-40, courtesy of the new video card (3090ti - I hesitated but it's been worth it).

I've missed taking screenshots - I like to have a record of the flights I enjoy, even if I don't post stuff.

Enjoy!
