No, PMS offers the 650 also with the 750. 

TDS is only updated once or twice a year by Garmin (unless you pay a fortune), so can't have it always in sync with the sim and other programs.

Yes, not everything in the PMS GTN is exactly like the real thing, we need to make compromises and decide what's best for us. As you say, good to have choices. 👍

TDS is essentially an upgrade from the old Flights and RXP units you used in P3D.  PMS is native to the sim and if navdata is absolutely imperative, it's your only option.  Other than that I'd recommend TDS.  It's like the real one.
