June 16, 200718 yr I wasnt meaning to imply such, I was just asking a question about TileProxy behavior. ex-Aces Lead PM, FSX SP1 and SP2 ex-Intel LRB native title enablement, ex Intel Gaming and Graphics Samples PM now Graphics and Multicore PM in Visual Computing Software Enabling.
June 16, 200718 yr >I wasnt meaning to imply such, I was just asking a question>about TileProxy behavior. Now that things are better defined, let me reffer back to a post ofmine with screenshots that I made last month.http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...ing_type=searchI have since removed SP1 and FSX completely. Re-installed both ona different, faster partition and applied a few tweaks.I've minimized the effects noted in my post but I still see theautogen loading just in front of my aircraft as well as blurrytiles in many instances. The autogen and tile updates will "catch up"but it's still impairing the essential "suspension of disbelief"...BTW, I use Cloud9 USA and Europe landclass and 10M USA mesh for the west coast. Paul
June 17, 200718 yr >As I just posted in my reaction to ryanbatcund, Aces KNOWS this. Phil SAYS so! The problem is CLEAR, so why post it all over again as if Phil ignores it...?I'm questioning whether the screenshot used to demonstrate "Type 3" blurries really is just that? If the user who took this shot had paused the sim for a minute before taking the shot, I'm almost certain the LOD line would have been farther from the viewer. The current shot only shows HALF a tile loaded at 1m, everything else is 2m or less, even the tile immediately to the right of the fully loaded one (which is no farther from the viewer than the fully loaded tile).http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/173871.jpg -
