July 17, 20223 yr I have been trying to set some cockpit camera views using Ctrl + Alt+ # (a digit 0 to 9). However, when I recall the camera view with Alt + #, the zoom level is way off. So it seems I am doing something wrong -- but what? Thanks. Al
July 17, 20223 yr I've struggled a bit with this as well. The only way I can get it to work is: 1) Make totally sure you're initially in default view/zoom (I have a joystick button mapped to that). 2) Set up your new view and save (as per usual). 3) Before activating the new view, make sure you're starting from the default view+zoom. It's all very confusing, to say the least.

Another user that does not have this problem has a default zoom level of 50. Is there a way to reset the default zoom level? Al Edited July 17, 20223 yr by ark

Yes, in the settings, under general, under camera...there's height, horizontal position, zoom, etc I have zoom at 50 so that's the default zoom for me unless i change it. Ilike 50 om my 37 inch tv 10850K, MSI Unify Z490, 32gb G.Skill Ripjaw 3600 CL16, MSI 5700 XT 8gb, Nochua NH-U12a, WD 500gb Black SSD (OS- Windows 10 Pro), Samsung 2tb Evo plus SSD (games), Superflower 850 watts power supply

Also, I supposed I'm not the only one to have save a button to recall custom view 0 (my main captain view), and struggle with to views cascading one after the other when pressing this recall function. Anyone got to solve this issue ? Thanks for the help. Souheil

Sometimes (for example in the FBW A320) I'm in a the CTRL-5 view (MCDU) ... if I then go into my custom ALT-1 view (FlyPad, zoomed in) then it's all over the place. I have to go back to the default VC view and *then* into the ALT-1 custom view.

I have my X56 button D mapped in MSFS (JOSTICK BUTTON 5) to: COCKPIT CAMERA: VFR PILOT VIEW RESET RESET COCKPIT VIEW IFR PILOT VIEW RESET DRONE CAMERA: RESET DRONE TARGET OFFSET EXTERNAL CAMERA: RESET EXTERNAL VIEW FIXED CAMERA: RESET FIXED CAMERA RESET SMARTCAM Some of the above may be duplicated or redundant, but I use the same button to reset *everything* - inside and out. I've been using this combination for a long time now and it works fine for me.
