July 24, 20223 yr We are preparing for a big celebration. Tomorrow we finally drop out of the triple digit temperatures. Our high is forecast to be only 98F (36.7C). We haven't seen such a cool temperature in more than a month. But it is a change. We are forecast to be in high 90s for the next 10 days. Then it will probably get hot again. I'm being facetious of course. Our mornings are very comfortable. At 7:00AM it's usually in the low 70s. That's when we go for walks and take care of outside work. By 11:00 it is getting hot. and it doesn't start cooling down until after dark and by midnight it is in the low 80s Some years ago my son was a roofer in Phoenix. They would work from sunup until about 11:00AM. Noel The tires are worn. The shocks are shot. The steering is wobbly. But the engine still runs fine.

July 25, 20223 yr Our next-door neighbors are visiting their kids in England. They've been there since 5 July and won't be home for another month. I can't wait to hear the stories. I can't imagine what you're going through. Living in an infrastructure designed for a much colder environment has to be a living he**. I'll never complain about the heat here in Florida again. Yes, our back yard in NJ had a feels like temperature of 111 which is quite warm for NJ... My mother is up from Boynton Beach Florida visiting and keeps saying she can't wait to get back to Florida where it's cooler!! LOL Edit: It's not just the heat either, the air quality has been very poor. I used my inhaler for the first time in YEARS yesterday... My team was at the track yesterday and track temperature was 158F... Edited July 25, 20223 yr by psolk Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk
July 25, 20223 yr Author No thanks Doug. I'll see your hot, humid days at 141ft and raise you my hot not so humid days@3600ft. I think the highest point in Florida is less than 400 feet. In our clear air I can look west and just see the top of Sierra Blanca over 12,000ft 90 miles away. The only haze I ever see is when I crank up P3Dv5. Noel The tires are worn. The shocks are shot. The steering is wobbly. But the engine still runs fine.
