August 13, 20223 yr Odd issue flying the plane today. I've flown it probably hundreds of times by now and haven't seen this. Got a route in the FMS, it's on nav mode, and it seems to be having lots of trouble following the line. It'll turn too wide, then overcorrect several times. So the end result is that after every fix I slalom around in the sky for 3 to 5 minutes before it finally settles down on the track. Bank angle is set to 30, so it shouldn't be that. Anyone else experience this? Ryzen 7 7800X3D/B650 X AX | 5090 | 32gig | Win10 | Pimax Crystal Light

Anyone else experience this? No, but I've just flown in MSFS and it had very chaotic winds, changing direction twice a second. Maybe it's that? Other than that I can only think an overweight plane or some drag surface out (gears, flaps, slats) for your problem. For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.
August 13, 20223 yr Once I had this problem in p3d, I then found out, that somehow a keybinding/Joystickbutton interfered somehow with the autopilot, but sorry I cant remember which one...
August 13, 20223 yr Author That's definitely possible. I do have several new controllers that might be fighting each other. Something to look into. Thanks! Ryzen 7 7800X3D/B650 X AX | 5090 | 32gig | Win10 | Pimax Crystal Light
August 13, 20223 yr I haven't had any such issues atleast not that I am aware of. Although the Maddog takes a wide turn it easily corrects itself and flies on course as it should.
August 13, 20223 yr mmmhhh, I think it was a key command or a maped button in junction with some ATC program, every time I did hit a certain button/command I did something to the autopilot...sorry cant remember more exactly...
