Strange problem while taxing

Featured Replies

I have the JF Piper Archer III and XP11. In this plane I no longer can turn with the rudder. But outside view shows that the rudder on the plane moves when I move the rudder pedals. I have calibrated my Logitech rudder pedals and rudder pedals are assigned to yaw for this (and all other) planes. The problem surfaced after replacing my CH Pro pedals with the Logitech pedals.

You need to set the rudder pedals for nosewheel steering.

There is 3 different control: yaw, rudder and steer tiler, while yaw do both, it seems you are assign rudder pedal to rudder only, so no nosewheel turning for that control.

Possibly, assign a button to Nosewheel Steering and see if that helps..

The solution I found is to assign a button to toggle nose wheel steering. Then after pressing that button I could steer with rudders
