August 28, 20223 yr (Larger image if clicked) Cruising at FL310 and 390 knots near Toledo, Ohio, on the way from Chicago to Baltimore, the sun reflecting off of Lake Erie and the Maumee River below through the morning haze. Well ahead beyond the tip of the left wing you can see the arm of land at Port Clinton, OH, separating Lake Erie and Sandusky Bay. Port Clinton's KPCW is home to the Liberty Aviation Museum and the adjacent Goose Tin diner, making it a great destination for a $100 hamburger or pancake meal. The popular tourist trap of "Put in Bay" is the middle of the islands you see out in the lake off Port Clinton.
