September 14, 20223 yr Hmm. Product is marked down to $35 from $50 from 9/4 to 9/30. I wonder what happens on 9/30? New product? Or discontinuance?

Until that changes, we're stuck trying to find older versions of the GTN/GNS installers that don't have the XP version number checks of the newer releases.

Should we write in that other forum where they are active to call their attention towards us in here? In the meantime making old versions of the installer available (with no support and entirely at the users own risk) would at least allow people to get the systems up and running again.
October 14, 20223 yr Reality XP PLEASE update the GTN 750 for Xplane 12. I will gladly pay for an update. Thank you
November 1, 20223 yr Looking forward to an update and agreed I'd be happy to pay for it. Such a brilliant product.
November 6, 20223 yr Hi guys, I'm going to expose my age (not like you can't figure it out in my handle,) and ... Newbness to this whole fiasco of trying to get our beloved GTN750's to install and run in XP12. I'm not using the demo version, BTW. I've been reading in a few posts here and there that an older version is needed to even have a glimmer of hope of installing this awesome plugin, and making it work. I had figured I simply just stayed up to the times, and had nothing but the most recent version of the 750, but low and behold, after about an hour of digging, and a couple of :::cough, cough:: scotch's::: I discovered an old version (2.5.24.0 from back in 20) on my system, and (this is where the age thing comes into play) can't figure out how to make this bugger work for 12 so I can give it a go to see if it works? When I try to fire-up the set-up program, it wants to associate it to work with XP 9,10, or 11. I'm a late bloomer to the XPlane world and only got on the XPlane band wagon during the beginning of 11, (of which I've never looked back) but I know I'm missing something simple. Yet again though, due to either age or scotch, I can't figure out where to go from here. Have pity on an old, widowed fool lol. Thanks ahead of time for any advice, or response!
November 10, 20223 yr I can't help but notice that @RXP has vanished again from the forum for another month without actually providing any information on what will be happening with GTN & GNS in XP12. I appreciate there's working going on on other products, but at least outlining what the plans are for customer who are currently in the dark would seem sensible.

September 30 2022 "Out of curiosity are you able to say if you've had any communication from RXP re XP12 versions of their avionics - they've gone silent on their own forums so no-ones really sure what's going on ?" October 3 2022 "Yes, they expect being ready near official release of XP12." That was me asking the question, but honestly it would be nice for RXP to visit their own forum and tell what's going on themselves. I've seen hints that some people are beta testing a new GTN version in XP (maybe a GTN750xi ?) but the lack of communications just leaves us guessing at this point.

Come across a bit more information on the new GTN and it looks like RXP may be getting some competition in this area in the near future (This isn't an appropriate place to go into details though) Edited November 19, 20223 yr by Matchstick
