Searching for ikigai in Okinawa

Featured Replies

Just had some moments of bliss as I climbed out from Amami Ōshima and the first rays of sunlight hit the cockpit. And as I headed south towards Okinawa, I was again struck by how beautiful this sim can look.

Not completely related, but apparently the concept of ikigai is held to be the reason why Okinawa boasts the longest living people on earth. The ikigai principles comprise “an intersection between 4 distinct elements: what you’re passionate about, where your skills lie, how you can earn a living and what the world needs”. Not a bad code to live by.
