This morning for my flight KSFO>KPHX when I first input KSFO into the departure airport and KPHX into arrival in the World Map RWY19L was highlighted for departure. So this time I clicked on KSFO again to re-input it into the departure airport field. When I did this I could see Wind was 140 degrees at KSFO and the runway switched to 10L. When I launched my flight sure enough 10L was the runway I was directed to. This is only one test so far but hopeful. So when you "reset" you do this on the Weather page in the WM? I'm going to try this again as the tipoff was that prior to reinputting KSFO the wind was not showing on the selected airport panel that displays runways and wind conditions. Cheers fingers crossed ;o) I don't think it matter, but I press the reset button in the WM map after I have type in my departure and arrivial airports, this is a very irritating bug, I have report this to Asobo, but no luck so far. September 22, 20223 yr Author I will look for and try the reset button next time but I have discovered when you first input your depature ICAO in the search field, and choose it in the list of airports that generates, all you need to do is reselect it and you will notice the wind data appears on the panel on the right that displays when you select an airport and the departure runway will often change--and it's always the one ATC directs me to. September 22, 20223 yr It's possible to hard code the runways built-in ATC will clear you to either land or depart from. I made an airport scenery and hard coded all south landings and departures to use one specific runway depending on prevalent surface wind conditions as this most closely matches real-world procedure. The built-in ATC will always clear all south landing inbounds and departure outbounds to a specific runway if wind conditions favor. The default scenery has ATC using two other runways at random for south landing conditions and this completely unrealistic. Edited September 22, 20223 yr by hobart escin
