October 8, 20223 yr I now find myself in an interesting replacement scenario. I have a newish 12700k and MB. I have had USB related issues with my MB. From my deep scouring of the web, I see I'm not alone. Numerous paths of troubleshooting and I always end up back in the same place. So I've come to the decision that I'm going to scrap my MB and CPU and sell it used. I have two options. -Buy 5850X and AM4 board now and use right away. I have 3600 CL`14 DDR4 and 3 M.2's. -Wait for 7850X and get a new MB AND new DDR5 ram. In a way I'm leaning to option 1 because I get to do it now, and it's a known commodity. Plus I don't have to buy more ram. However as any flight simmer, I'm always looking over my shoulder. Your MB is compatible with Intel 13900K Raptor Lake CPU with a BIOS update, Wait for the benchmarks you may find the Intel will outperform the 7850X. And for a fraction of the cost. Went 5800x3d and the Gigabyte X570S MB. Cost for those was not bad.
