Default and Addon scenery displayed together

Featured Replies

Hi All,

Maybe someone can help me. I recently updated GSX after it finally started working properly but now I have a problem with the scenery. The default airport scenery and addon scenery are visible together and the system uses the default scenery AFCAD. Everything was fine until I updated GSX and then this problem occurred. I am using Prepar3d 4.5 and the two airports so far are ImagineSims Singapore and MFSG Darwin.

Has anyone else had this problem and what should I do to resolve the issue.

All suggestions welcome

Cheers

Craig

The only thing I can imagine is layering, and this has nothing to do with GSX. Maybe GSX added it's own exclusion scenery somewhere and made the sceneries reorder.

Just try to put the two sceneries on top. If they are added by add-on.xml you need a scenery manager to sort it. Another way is to repair or reinstall sceneries. Sometimes the fastest way to solve problems.

Regards

Dan

If this is true, why was that not accounted for when the P3D development team created the addon.xml system? Surely it should be possible to do this in P3D itself, just like the original Scenery Library installation method?
