Bruce;

I'm guessing it's shader or video driver related.  Looks like black boxes where the lights should be.  I'd start by clearing the shader cache and let FSX rebuild new shaders.

If you've changed drivers recently, there could be a driver compatiliblity issue.  We've seen something like this in P3D with a few recent drivers.

Your profile says you're in Broomfield--have you returned to Colorado?

Possible DX10 preview issue causing the lights to be black?  Doesn't seem dark enough for street lighting to be on!

Hi Bob! Yes I'm now in an old folks home in Broomfield. My wife passed away 3yrs ago and my health went south so I had to give up my house in SCW and move back here so my daughters can help. Been here about 11weeks now.

Have no idea how to clear shader cache? Where do I find that? I looked in the main FSX folder and didn't see that. Have not changed any drivers.

It was mid day so lights shouldn't have been on. It was on every country road too where there shouldn't be any lights.

I'll turn off the DX10 preview and see if that helps. DX10 fixer says all OK though. Thanks for the suggestions, guys! I bought ORBX Global Base this morning and this is what I got -
