October 15, 20223 yr PRO ATC SR asked me to tune Paris De Gaulle approach on 140.57 (or something like that). I can't get the radio to tune above 136. Is there an option I need to change in the A320 or in P3d? Edited October 15, 20223 yr by Alistair Logie
October 15, 20223 yr That has to be an error in your ATC software. There are no aviation frequencies that high. October 15, 20223 yr Author The data appears to be coming from Navigraph. It lists two approach frequencies for LFPG which are above 136.x. 138.575 and 140.575
October 16, 20223 yr Some old aircraft with only 2 digit freq but 25khz spacing would use .x2 and .x7 for .x25 and .x75, it's the same thing just differ on how it's shown.
October 17, 20223 yr Strange ? should be something between 108.000 and 137.000, no more ? Those frequencies are out of the normal VHF range, of which 118.000 up to 136.975 are actually the ones used for radiotelephony. October 22, 20223 yr There is an extended VHF communication range in force, but I can't find the specific documentation about this. I know that some Airbus A320 have the ability to go to this range. To my knowledge only the military use this frequencies (in addition to their regular UHF frequency range) but don't quote me on this. Some french civilian airports have dedicated miltary frequencies. Chances are ProATC is bugging when trying to assign this frequency.
