Stuck on Syncing Data screen

Featured Replies

I have recently uninstalled MSFS 2020 due to the fact that yesterday I opened up the sim but could not get past the above message and up until then the sim had been working fine.

I have now re downloaded and pressed play and yet I still cannot get past this screen.

Really at my wits end and really do not know what to do next.

Any help would be appreciated.

that's a wide field and thus just a quick shot but do you have your MS Store updates checked and installed? there was recently a gaming services update I believe yesterday or so, check whether that is installed. needless to say that internet must be in place but since you are posting here ... 😉

duckduckgo.com has a multiple of hits for "Stuck on Syncing Data screen" Few of them list Microsoft Flight Simulator in the results.

Here is what I do after reading about the problem.

1. Sign out of the Microsoft store.

2. Sign out of the Xbox app.

3. MOST important, restart computer.

4. Sign in to Xbox then Microsoft store.

5. Start the sin.

Try that.
