SU10 Controls Options weirdness

Featured Replies

Ever since I installed SU10, my controller options have gone completely weird.

For axes, the horizontal bar either doesn't show or is stuck at some arbitrary position. When moving any of the axes, the assignment box (above the bar) flashes on and off.

When in the aircaft, most things appear to work correctly - but I've had to fiddle with them to get them working again.

I use FSUIPC, but this occurs even without it running.

Is this a known problem? Is there a solution?

you are not alone mate - yesterday spent ages trying to get my axis shown as working and get the same result

on my Alpha controller - and no matter how many times I try to the cockpit zooms to work on either the Alpha

or the mouse - I get no action - even though the sim shows them verified

All this despite a complete new setup and a new computer

pS Thinks - maybe I should check the driver on the alpha ??

Did your problems start immediately after SU10 (mine did)?

I have a Logitech/Saitek X56 + rudders .... and all were working quite sensibly for many months until now. Logitech don't update their drivers very often, so it won't be that (for me at least).

cant really answer that because in my case - my PC went belly up before the UD10 which happened whilst

I was building a new one - but it wasnt there before it Karked it  - so maybe it is the fault of UD10

not only that problem But I keep getting the CTD caused by some ridiculous reason for closing it down

Seems to be a massive problem that Asobo are trying to solve

I noticed the same problem a while ago. Not sure if it was SU 10 where it began.

5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB  PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Crystal Light VR.

has anybody any ideas to help ??

Not really an idea, but when it happened to me, months ago, I started to map all my controls and axis with SPAD.next. No problems any more. Every now and then, I Try my old Asobo profiles, pointless. That way I'm more or less independent of any changes and all my profiles are on my hard drive

Worth a try, alternative wold be Axis and Ohs: https://axisandohs.weebly.com/

SPAD.next: https://www.spadnext.com/home.html

Both have a fully working 14 days trial option.

Good luck

Mick
