Somewhat hidden amongst all the detail in the recent MSFS Dev Stream is that Asobo's ATR is arriving in March 2023.

42-600, 72-600 and 72-600F are being recreated with "full support" from manufacturer ATR.

This version will have:

Detailed aircraft systems and FMS.

Advanced avionics including synthetic vision, TAWS, weather radar, and will have an EFB using original documentation and data from ATR themselves.

Advanced engine systems, including the power management system, ATPCS and  propeller brake (for Hotel Mode).

The EFB will contain take off and landing calculators, configuration items, such as aircraft state, ground services, and some maintenance functions.

This will be the first of an “Expert Series” line of aircraft from Asobo.
