I know I'm in a minority,  but I like the Asobo P-51D and T-6.   They could be much improved,  but I don't mind using them for a quick blast now and then.  And I still have War Thunder Ground Realistic Battles when I want to shoot stuff.

There is a livery for the Asobo 51D on FS.TO that looks incredible,  great cockpit and external textures.   But on my system it's just pink textures and windows,   inside or out.

Was wondering if anyone would mind seeing if it works on their install,   and maybe someone would be kind enough to know why.    Really love to sort this out.   I have a pm in to the author,  but no response thus far.   Hoping someone could spot something obvious in the file structure of the mod.

EDIT:  Also like to hear if you're happy with the Aeroplane Heaven P-51D,  compared to the Asobo.  Tempted by the AH P-51,  but heard mixed issues about mediocre sounds that aren't WWise.

For repaints you need the entire P51 pack and Reno racers I'm pretty sure.  I only bought 1 P51 and 2 L39s. So repaints won't work for me

 

 

I bought the entire pack and have it installed.

I bought the base pack for less than 10$ and imho thats a great value for the money. I highly recommend it. For every speed category I got a nice aircraft for FVR flying and sightseeing.

I have downloaded the package and the textures were also pink. I have reviewed the content of the zip file and found a really strange, very likely broken, folder structure. Right now I am trying to fiddle around bring it to work.

Now the livery works, the texture folder at the bottom of the folder tree must be moved inside the JT_P-51D_Moonbeam_McSwine-folder.

Imho the metalic colors of the livery are a bit too dark/grey:

That worked!    The fuselage seems to have more of a bare metal finish while the wings appear more like they are painted a shade of silver.    The interior textures are very nice,   think I'll use this one.
