November 12, 20223 yr With all the 40th anniversary content and the massive performance improvements from using DLSS in SU11, I am really happy and grateful to MS / Asobo for the update. To all the grouches, naysayers, and sim-snobs, who constantly moan about lack of absolute accuracy, you can take a hike and go and wallow in your own discontent. This update has brought joy to thousands of people, as shown by the thread below; just one of many... If nothing was released until it was 100% accurate (if there is such a thing), or if the sim was only shaped for 'real' pilots, the user base for this title would probably be about 1 or 2 percent of current, and the sim would cost an incalculable amount more, and certainly wouldn't have the amount of development from third parties that we see. Although I don't have any issues myself, there are a few bugs to be fixed of course, but I just hope people and friends on here are enjoying it as much as I am. There is so much content it is difficult to get through it all. I also can't believe how little I have paid for all this compared to how things were a few years back. We are living in great times for flight simulation without a doubt, with more to come - sometimes we need to just realise what we have for the price and be grateful. November 12, 20223 yr Author PS. There are some great threads over at the (much-maligned for some reason) MSFS Reddit. You can learn a lot. There is a lot of genuine humour, as well as showing how much people are really enjoying themselves with this update, which is really heart-warming to see. I found out you can stop the rattle in the Beaver by tightening down the oil filler cap. Plenty of other useful info as well. Take a look at the fun yourselves if you dare! https://www.reddit.com/r/MicrosoftFlightSim/ Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). I agree. Thank you, XBOX.

Especially as the much talked about 'downgrade' didn't happen for the sake of the Xbox. Although I fear it nearly did with SU5, until Asobo gave us some decent PC graphics options back with a fix. But some users PC's aren't even as powerful as an Xbox anyway. Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). Well, the quickest and easiest way would be to buy him an Xbox and then he could try out Flight Simulator using Gamepass. Much cheaper for him to try that way than buying a PC capable of running it assuming he doesn't have one already. I suspect he probably doesn't have either an Xbox or PC because if he's a big fan of aeroplanes, he'd probably already have Flight Simulator. And you'd have already lost him. Metaphorically speaking, of course 😉 Good luck 😁 Edited December 28, 20223 yr by spacedyemeerkat
