November 17, 20223 yr After mixture is cut during shutdown the props continue to spin continuously even though the plane is cold and dark. Has anyone experienced this or knows how to fix it?

Regards Pat I can't duplicate that problem. As soon as I pull the mixture levers all the way back the props stop in just a couple of seconds. Same thing happens if I just turn off the mags.
