That's not a deadzone it's just a little slack in the mechanism as when he does more than vibrate it you can see the sensitivity balls moving slightly. The yoke is fabulous in all areas as long as you can deal with how far it protrudes out low which ergonomically will be an issue for some. A concave curved mounting edge is ideal in this regard. I hand fly just great with it and it's vastly improved over the Saitek yoke and TQ I had previously for many years. December 14, 20223 yr Author A bit later than promised, but absolutely loving the TM Boeing Yoke. Feels so much better and instantly handled the 737 and PA28 a LOT better. Thanks to all for taking the time to comment and help.
December 14, 20223 yr I agree with Noel as I recently switched to the Thrustmaster Boeing TCA setup from using a Saitek yoke/throttle setup for many years. The huge improvement was way more then I dared hope for. As long as the lower intrusion doesn't bother you I'd say go for it. It has made my flight sim experience so much better. The way the yoke operates like its extending from the floor makes flying the new Beaver so much more realistic 🙂
June 6, 20233 yr Can you add the Logitech panels on top of the thurstmaster? If not, where would you recommend having these panels?
June 6, 20233 yr Can't vouch for the thrustmaster products as I own different ones. I have their T16000 and throttle for single engine jets, Elite Dangerous and Star Citizen. I will say the Logitech/Saitek Yoke does work but has issues with that middle indent. After my warrany expired I too k it apart and fitted very light springs vs the worn out rubber bands used. It made some noise but was a lot smoother overall. Fast forward: I have used the Honeycomb Alpha/ Bravo combo and really like them.
