December 5, 20223 yr Curious, at this point in the sim, are there any FPS hits using photogrammetry over autogen? I have read a lot but nothing in the past year relating to FPS hit (on or off). Not to worried about 2-3 FPS but can it save more then that? Thanks CPU: Core i5-6600K 4 core (3.5GHz) - overclock to 4.3 | RAM: (1066 MHz) 16GB MOBO: ASUS Z170 Pro | GeForce GTX 1070 8GB | MONITOR: 2560 X 1440 2K
December 5, 20223 yr I don not look at FPS and have locked mine to 30. When flying over PG Los Angeles or any other big city I do not notice any performance fall. But that's maybe because my hardware can handle more than the locked 30fps.
December 5, 20223 yr I once did some tests and found enabling photogrammetry allowed for higher / stable FPS then default autogen, which was unexpected to me baceuase my home Internet speed is not top for today's standards ... ( 100 Mbps ) Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)
December 5, 20223 yr for me the other way around. Using photogrammetry instead of autogen is pprox 10 fps reduction with Tlod 200 on ground / low altitude.
