Oh dear, I didn't intend to make a dig at you Jack! Now I'm mortified...

I'm no spring chicken myself. I'll turn 74 next month, and my vision is pretty limited myself. I have an appointment at the VA for my annual vision exam, and probably a new prescription and glasses. They will also check on the progress of cataracts to see if they are bad enough to require removal.

Not to worry n4gix.  I'm not angry, I know exactly what you're talking about as far as cataracts go though.  No problem, we all make dumb mistakes.  Cheers and happy holidays.

LOL!!  Thank goodness my cat, Ratchet, isn't even remotely interested in the tree.

Jack Sawyer

Our tree has been down twice already. We have a prelit 4 ft. artificial tree, and decided it was safer to not add any decorations to it... It's more tree than either of us has had in many years.

Fred, no big deal, didn't mean to cause a fuss.

Fr Bill, I had my cataracts removed about 10 years ago. If I had known what a difference it makes, I would have done it way sooner. I never had 30/20 before, now I can see fairly well before I put on my glasses, and I don't need coke bottle bottom lenses. It's an easy procedure and the results are wonderful.

Hi Sue, Merry Christmas.  Down twice already, wow.  I wonder why cats do this?  This is my first pet ever in life and he's so relaxed and calm, he's an indoor cat and he follows me and my wife around like Mary's little lamb. All he wants is affection 24/7.  We have a live Douglas fir, the second one in a row since we've had him and he ignores it.  That video above made me laugh out loud though.

I fell over laughing, when I saw the tree in the cage. My sister came in to see what I was laughing about and she laughed as hard as I did.
