Having an issue with the Maddog today.

Featured Replies

Hi

I have started using the Maddog quite a bit recently, but have come across a strange issue. I had a great flight last night from EGPH-LIRA with no issue's setting up, and flying the route. But today i cannot for the life of me get the GPU to start when selecting it in the menu. I have checked all the settings in the app, and unless i am missing something blindingly obvious, i am at a loss.

Any advice appreciated.

Do you have the EXT PWR L BUS & R BUS in the down position? They are located on the upper left aft section of the overhead.

I'll Check later as in flight in the A310 at the moment. But i think i was, but will make sure and check next flight.

Thanks

Yea, when it's plugged in, you have to tell it you want it to use that power source.

Another idea: Do you have GSX? Maddog completely integrated GSX into their systems, so it might be possible that you need to call the GPU via GSX for it to "activate" in the Maddog.

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

Thanks @Fiorentoni That was indeed the issue. You learn something everyday.
