Navigraph navdata, just for one month?

Featured Replies

Hello everyone. Is it there a way to purchase just a month's worth of just navdata? I mean, there is the €9 pack with charts, navdata and flight planner, but I don't need all of this: I still have FSBuild and Simbrief for flight planning, and Aivlasoft EFB for the charts (after some recommendations from people here).

The last time I flew online was 15 years (and 13 rigs) ago, so I don't need the latest ones (if not for that, the €30 yearly option could work for me). Any ideas before biting the bullet?

Best regards,

Main rig: self built, AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D (with SMT off and CO -50 mV), 2x16 GB DDR4-3200 RAM, Nvidia RTX 5060Ti 16GB, 256 GB M.2 SSD (OS+apps) + 2x1 TB SATA III SSD (sims) + 1 TB 7200 rpm HDD (storage), ID-Cooling SE-224-XTS air cooler, Viewsonic VX2458-MHD 1920x1080@120-144 Hz (G-sync compatible), Windows 11. Running P3D v5.4 (with v4.5 scenery objects as an additional library, just in case), FSX-SE, MSFS2020, MSFS2024 and even FS9! Lossless Scaling for all my sims. What a godsend...

Mobile rig: ASUS Zenbook UM425QA (AMD Ryzen 7 5800H APU @3.2 GHz and boost disabled, 1 TB M.2 SSD, 16 GB RAM, Windows 11 Pro). Running FS9 there .

VKB Gladiator NXT Premium Left + GNX THQ as primary controllers. Xbox Series X|S wireless controller as standby/mobile.

Hello Luis, I used the Navigraph FMS Data only subscription for years with the Aivlasoft EFB for charts and decided to upgrade my Navigraph subscription to give the Navigraph Charts a try. For my own reasons I chose to stick with the EFB. I too discovered that with Navigraph you can upgrade but you can't downgrade back. Reminds me of the "Hotel California", "you can check out, but you can never leave" 😂. You can cancel your subscription then reinstate any time but my understanding it has to be the full charts and FMS data. I think I'm just going to update my data once or twice a year. You'll probably not notice any difference in the sim other than the ARAC out of date notice when you first start programing the FMS.

That's my idea, actually: pay a month and then cancel the subscription, until I feel like paying again.

AS's NavdataPro / NavdataProCharts have monthly options, though their supported airacs are mostly for aircraft & missing airacs for tools etc. (PFPX, Topcat, VoxATC ....)

The core program has less bells&whistles than Navigraph & uses Lido (Lufthansa) sourced data &/or charts, the latter for many are more informative & presentable than Jeppesen sourced.

Each to their own, I use Lido charts / Jeppesen airacs, updating those airacs when I see an updatad chart (ie the new runways etc, @ VHHH & WSSS)

for now, cheers
