January 2, 20233 yr AMD: Overall, across all tested applications: https://www.phoronix.com/review/radeon2022-windows-linux Nvidia benchmarks: https://www.phoronix.com/review/nvidia2022-windows11-linux Don't let the isolated X-Plane result above fool you. The overall end tally for Nvidia is this: Too bad these were made at 4k instead of 2k, otherwise I could contribute a comparative result from my 6900 XT. Not at all, from a gaming pov I'm well aware most are running on not quite as well developed drivers, and hobbled by mostly needing to use Proton. This one is worth repeating tbh Much stronger showing than I would have expected. But also, OS oddities aside, That they are all doing >=100fps at 4K Extreme quality is worth noting. Even though it's not a test of the GPU per se, last I tested this on my own (been a while ago now), AMD+1080p was in favor of Linux. Need to rerun those now with the latest betas coming out. Friendly reminder: WHITELIST AVSIM IN YOUR AD-BLOCKER. Especially if you're on a modern CPU that can run a flight simulator well. These web servers aren't free...
