I already have the Premium version, I would only get 5 additional airports I don't want because I already have better alternatives and 4 aircraft I don't want all for the pice of another full game.

That upgrade pricing is complete insanity.

I agree on that.

I think for new users buying premium deluxe is a actually a very good option. However the upgrade pricing, especially when they never added any more features even though the main game has expanded a lot, seems silly.

I suspect they price them that way to make buying them as part of your original purchase more attract - but who knows.

While I have no inside knowledge, I'll boldly offer two prediction for 2023:

  • The price of upgrading to Premium Deluxe will be reduced.
  • The Longitude will be offered as a stand-alone product.
