The topic of this thread is GPU load and memory use in XP12.  Not MSFS performance vs XP12 performance.  Not MSFS *anything*.  The OP asked a specific question, not for another sim-v-sim free for all.

A couple of serial thread hijackers are close to getting a special invitation to a newly-formed group that excludes access to the XP forums.

I don't like to put up walls, but I certainly will if needed to keep the peace.

HDMI Specification HDMI 2.1a is the most recent update of the HDMI specification and supports a range of higher video resolutions and refresh rates including 8K60 and 4K120, and resolutions up to 10K.

If you have a GPU and display that supports it:

the first release of a GPU supporting the Nvidia HDMI 2.1-enabled features was the RTX 30 series and its flagship RTX 3090, such capabilities were not far behind for AMD. Their Radeon RX 6000 series represents the flagship GPUs for the latest HDMI technology update utilizing AMD's RDNA architecture.

Otherwise display port FTW.
